Every weekend you can log on to some of the major online poker rooms and play for a million dollar prize pool. Now the people at
Pacific Poker are going to make such prize pools look like pocket change as they are set to host a $3 million guaranteed tournament which could pay out the biggest first prize in online history.
On April the 26th they are hosting the World Poker Crown, a $1000+50 no limit hold'em event which will no doubt be the biggest event of the online weekend. Qualifiers have already started on Pacific Poker and will continue right up until the event.
This is one of the 'new breed' of online tournaments, in that it takes place online, but the final table will be a live game, televised event on Sky Sports. Anyone who makes the final eight will be flown to the Perlada Castle in Spain for the finale. Finalists and a guest will stay in a 5 star hotel and be flown by helicopter to the final table between May the 6th and 10th.
Pacific Poker are also guaranteeing $1 million for the winner, making this one of the biggest ever first prizes in online poker history. The guarantee would suggest that 3000 entrants are expected, but you never know when an overlay is going to happen and this could be another good value reason to take part.
Don't forget that on your way to the World Poker Crown you can get a sign up bonus worth up to $100 when you use the sign up code UKPNEWS. Not only that but you will be eligible for exclusive regular Pokernews free rolls when you sign up to Pacific Poker with us.
