There will be a series of tournaments over the Christmas and New Year period, culminating with a huge $30,000 freeroll giveaway on New Year's Day. Known as Santa's Bulging Sack, this promotion offers a range of great prizes including Irish Open buy-in's, holidays and lots of fancy electronic gadgetry.

Free to enter, the Santa's Bulging Sack promotion is the perfect tonic for those jaded with last minute Christmas shopping, with a great selection of final table prizes. There will be no January blues for the top fifteen finishers in this tournament either, as they bounce into spring with presents which will have their families screaming with jealousy.

The 2nd place finisher receives free entry (plus expenses) to the €1,500 Irish Open No Limit Hold'em Freezeout Event, while the winner of Santa's Bulging Sack will walk away with the most coveted ticket in town, entry to the €3 Million Guaranteed Irish Open Main Event worth €4,500. The 2008 Irish Open will be held over Easter Weekend at the fabulous Citywest Hotel, near Dublin from the 19th-24th March 2008.
