ECOOP Event #2 - $100k Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo

The second event of the European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP) took place on Saturday at Titan Poker. The event was the $100 + $9 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Rebuy with a 100k guaranteed prizepool. The tournament ran for 10 hours with the 540 players purchasing 400 rebuys. This meant there was a 6k overlay providing each player with excellent value.

The series will reach its exciting conclusion on December the 9th with a $1,000,000 Main Event. UK PokerNews will be providing our readers with a round-up of all the events.

The first player eliminated was "meteorit" with . He ran into "yz2a" with and when the hit the flop it was all over.

"mannmannmann (D)" was extremely short stacked and finished in 9th place when his hand of { was beaten by "yz2a" who hit broadway on the river.

The other short stacked player was next to go when "MARKENNENKZ" pushed pre-flop with only to be beaten by "No2Bookie" with a diamond flush.

"cadopiaaa" finished in 7th place when he made a move on the flop of with the hand . The came on the turn giving "BSinclar" trips. "cadopiaaa" had plenty of outs for the high and low, but the river came and he was finished for the day.

"BSinclar" again proved the destroyer when he hit broadway and eliminated "yz2a" in 6th place. "BSinclar" also played a part in the three way pot that saw "No2Bookie" knocked out in 5th position. "No2Bookie" was holding and didn't improve. "BSinclar" and "PJBACES" split the high and the lo to knock him out.

The next player eliminated was "Balaganov2" in 4th position. He was all in preflop with only to run into "PJBACES" on the BB with .

"cindy74" was the next to fall victim of "BSinclar". She was dealt whilst "BSinclar" was holding . The flop came {9} giving "cindy74" a flush draw. When the arrived on the turn "BSinclar" bet 540k and "cindy74" made the call going all in. The river was the and the tournament was over for "cindy74".

After decimating most of the final table it was only fitting that "BSinclar" won the heads up battle with "PJBACES", who finally pushed all in preflop with and was called by "BSinclar" with . The board read and "BSinclar" had two pairs and the tournament victory.
