Event #7 of the European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP) was the $200 + $15 Limit Holdem event and it brought together an impressive line-up of 497 players, who battled it out for over 8 hours for their share of the $94,000 prize pool.
The final table saw the following players in action;
hoedic 67,051
Maestro1979 58,676
intepawrora 181,370
CrazyPenguin 120,246
Pennypacker123 133,264
matlik 173,320
Jaliks 114,338
iamtehseer 19,589
marquis1 82,782
Poolking 43,361
Short-stacked "iamtehseer" was the first to be eliminated from the final table when he was forced to put his remaining chips in with
against the
of "Maestro1979". The board bricked out and "iamtehseer" was out in 10th place.
With a little more than four big bets left, "Poolking" decided to make a stand with
against the
of "Jaliks". When the flop came

"Jaliks" had flopped a full house to leave "Poolking" drawing almost dead and he was eliminated.
With 8 players left, "hoedic" had surged to the chip lead, and extended that lead further in a clash with "marquis1". "hoedic" held
to be well in front of the
of "marquis1". The flop delivered

to give "marquis1" some hope with an open-ended straight draw. The
on the turn gave "hoedic" a set while changing very little, but the
on the river ended the run "marquis1" in 8th place.
"Jaliks" was next to go after losing a heap of chips, he found himself all in pre-flop with
and called by two players. His opponents were smart enough to check it down all the way and the pocket eights of "Pennypacker123" proved to be good enough to collect the pot and end the tournament of "Jaliks".
With the blinds now reaching a huge 7,500/15,000 players were forced to get busy. When "hoedic" raised once again "CrazyPenguin" was forced to make a stand in the big blind holding
. He was not in bad shape when "hoedic" showed his pocket fours but when the board bricked out "CrazyPenguin" was eliminated in 6th place.
On a flop of

, "Pennypacker123" decided to commit to the pot holding pocket eights, however "Maestro1979" wasn't going anywhere after hitting top pair with his
. The turn of
and river of
brought the end for "Pennypacker123" in 5th place.
One of the biggest pots of the tournament saw the demise of "matlik" at the hands of "intepawrora". "matlk" held
and was dominating the
of "intepawrora" until the flop brought an amazing

. With another bet on the
turn, "matlik" had committed all of his chips to the pot, drawing only to a gutshot straight. A
on the river was enough to send "matlik" to the rail.
With three players remaining "hoedic" started to accumulate a healthy stack but it was "intepawrora" out in front with the chip lead. The short stack was "Maestro1979" and he was unlucky to be the next eliminated when his
took on the
of "hoedic". When the flop came

, "Maestro1979' had been badly out-flopped. He couldn't find an Ace to save himself and was eliminated in 3rd place after a great showing in this event.
The heads up contest commenced with "hoedic" having a slight chip advantage, but in an epic battle, several keys hands went the way of "intepawrora" who was able to regain the lead until the final hand of the tournament. "intepawrora" held top pair with
on the flop of

but "hoedic" had a monster draw with his
for a straight-flush draw. The turn was the
and the river
ending the run of "hoedic" in 2nd place, with "intepawrora" capturing a well deserved victory and ECOOP bracelet.
