Let's get down to business then! How does this promotion work?

Starting on January 6th, the PokerProForAYear League will begin. The league will run for 48 weeks. The league will decide on ten finalists via the top ten positions. These ten finalists will be whisked away to a secret location to battle it out for the title of Poker Pro For a Year. The final will be webcast right here at PokerNews. All expenses (flights, accomodation) for the ten finalists will be paid.

The main league will consist of seven low-buyin events, one $500 freeroll and one awesome "Global Freeroll" where of which will receive an all-expenses paid package to a land-based event in 2007. Such as the EPT Dortmund, the WSOP Main Event, the WPT Paris or the Aussie Millions. Players will collect leaderboard points from these online tournaments. In addition, players can also pick up bonus leaderboard points from any buy-in tournanment they play at Pacific Poker.
