This year is the 6th season of the World Poker Tour. For the 1st time in the history of the WPT they are heading to Spain. The WPT Spanish Championship is being held at the Casino Balcelona from the 11-16th of October.

This move into Spain coincides with the recent launching of the WPT's own online poker room. To celebrate WPT Online is giving UK PokerNews players two chances to win a €9,000 WPT Barcelona Package for free!

These two exclusive freerolls are taking place on Saturday the 1st of September at 14:00 EDT, and Saturday the 29th of September at 14:00 EDT. Each freeroll winner will receive the €9,000 package. The package includes entry to the WPT Spanish Championship (€7,500+€300), plus €1,200 in cash for travel and accommodation.

To be eligible for the 1st freeroll players need to download World Poker Tour Online through UK PokerNews and register a new account. Then you will have to make a deposit and earn 15 MPP's before Sunday the 26th of August. If you cover these requirements all you will need to do then is register for the tournament. Registration will open 24hrs before the freeroll begins.

The second event on the 29th of September is also exclusive to UK PokerNews players. To qualify for this players will need to earn 15 MPP's between Saturday the 1st of September and Sunday the 23rd of September. Those players that qualify will again be able to register from 24hrs before the beginning of the freeroll.
