Ladbrokes Poker Delivers a High Five in May

Ladbrokes Poker is five years old on 13th May so the good people behind the leading European poker room have decided to celebrate by staging some grand giveaways in May. These include WSOP packages, big cash tournaments and poker games with the famous!

To start things off with a bang, the prize pool for the May 5,000 Player Point Freeroll has been specially enhanced to $150,000 to include no less than 10 WSOP Birthday Packages. These comprise one of the following:

$15,000 WSOP Birthday Package including $10,000 Main Event buy-in (from 5th to 17th July); $2,000 in expenses; 14 nights accommodation at the Rio Casino (from 30th June to 14th July) and Team Ladbrokes Membership with welcome party, official lounge and hospitality.

$6,500 WSOP Birthday Package including $1,500 Buy-In Event # 55 on 3rd and 4th July; $2,000 in expenses; 14 nights accommodation at the Rio Casino (from 30th June to 14th July) and Team Ladbrokes Membership with welcome party, official lounge and hospitality.

Then, on the day of Ladbrokes Poker's 5th birthday – 13th May 2007 – there will be:

- $5,000 Freeroll for Player Point collectors;

- Cruise Weekly Final with five guaranteed Caribbean Poker Cruise tickets available;

- $100,000 guaranteed multi-table tournament including two WSOP birthday packages. Entry is $100 with $50 rebuys.

- Random cash awards by the poker room managers dropping in on any table in play.

Also, from today (4th May), the top 50 finishers in the Weekly Leaderboard Freeroll will be invited to compete in another freeroll worth $26,000 in WSOP prizes each week.

There will also be special Celebrity Nights with revered Ladbrokes Poker names such as Steve Davis (ex-snooker world supremo) and Roy "The Boy" Brindley dropping in to play the 7pm $10 Freezeout with a substantial bounty on their heads. By substantial, we mean a $1,400 WSOP Weekly Final seat! That is not all from them, as they will also play cash games and Sit'n'Go's later on in the evening with more bounties to dish out.

The final celebration giveaway from Ladbrokes Poker will be a $30,000 Added "Beat the Team" on 31st May. If you have ever wanted to get even with those responsible (in your own minds of course!) for your bad beats, now is the opportunity.

Ten members of Ladbrokes Poker management will compete in this special big value added tournament, and every one will carry a bounty. Knock one or more out of the event and you could pile up the cash and even end up in Las Vegas.

The first team member knocked out will carry a bounty of $100, and this increases to a $15,000 WSOP Birthday package for the player that claims the tenth and last bounty.
