ladbrokes poker Ladbrokes Poker is holding the annual renewal of their flagship on-line poker festival this month between Monday 25th September and Sunday 1st October. The Ladbrokes European Online Championship of Poker (LEOCOP) will consist of seven events, plus an additional free-roll event on Sunday 15th October for all those participants that entered the LEOCOP Main Event and any three of the other six events in the scheduled festival. Ladbrokes is donating $52,500 worth of prizes in this free-roll as follows;

1st Place - $30k Team Ladbrokes EPT package including the Copenhagen, Deauville and Monte Carlo Grand Final events
2nd Place - $15k Team Ladbrokes EPT package including either; the Copenhagen and
Betfred Poker
Deauville events or the Monte Carlo Grand Final
3rd Place - $7.5k Team Ladbrokes EPT package to either Copenhagen or Deauville.

Ladbrokes are also guaranteeing $1,160,000 in prize money during this festival, as well as providing exclusive gold bracelets for each LEOCOP event winner. The site are hoping to build on the success of last year’s LEOCOP, where over 2000 players participated in seven events producing a massive £2,000,000 in total prize money.

Last year, the Main Event was won by 'ALI666' from Durham, England, who took home $266,250 for the impressive victory. The prize pool for this event alone was $1,065,000, which was the biggest tournament ever run by Ladbrokes, bar the ‘Poker Million’ and with numbers set to increase again this year, prizes are likely to be even bigger.
Below is the schedule of events for the 2006 LEOCOP;
