Irish Open satellite for UK media

The Paddy Power Poker sponsored Irish Open, have announced a super satellite to the event for members of the media. UK Poker News will, of course, be in attendance. Members of the poker press can expect a fine evening out.

With the forthcoming Irish Open gaining much coverage in the poker media lately, Paddy Power, the tournament sponsors, have launched a super satellite for members of the poker press.

Around 50 of Europes top poker journalists will fight it out for a seat in the Irish Open, worth €4,000. Flights and accomodation are also thrown into the mix for the Easter weekend event in Dublin, Ireland. With €1,000,000+ in prize money on offer for the main event,
Paradise Poker
competition is sure to be fierce.

The tournament takes place on March 29th at The Gutshot poker club in London. Here is the full lowdown for the evenings event:

Tournament starts
7pm sharp

Prize
€4000 including flights/accommodation/ticket package to the €1 million guaranteed Irish Open 2006 in Dublin over Easter Weekend (April 14-17).

Structure
This is a 'Double Chance' tournament. Players will receive half their chips at the beginning of the tournament and can take the other half at any point between the end of the first hand and the first break.

If you are not already a member of the Gutshot Club, you will NEED to bring photographic ID to join and play in this tournament.
