Playboy Choose Cryptologic

Playboy's poker room have chosen the Cryptologic poker network as the host for their platform. In an exclusive three year deal CryptoLogic Inc. and Playboy Enterprises Inc. will expand their relationship by launching the first Playboy-branded online poker Web site.

The new poker room will target players from around the world except for the United States. Detailed terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed to the media and general public.

Playboy and Cryptologic have an agreement already in place regarding the Playboy Casino site.

Playboy chief executive Christie Hefner said, "In CryptoLogic, Playboy has found an innovative and proven partner who can help us capitalise on the growth and excitement of online poker."

The poker rooms plans to use a similar marketing strategy to the Playboy casino. Playboy merchandise, invitations, events hosted by Playboy and trips to the famous (or is that infamous?) Playboy mansion will all be on offer for Playboy poker players.

Playboy joins a list of large established companies on the Cryptologic network. William Hill, Littlewoods, Inter Poker and Betfair Poker are amongst some of the big names making this network one of the worlds largest. The inclusion of Playboy will only boost player numbers further.
