The End Of Play For Day 1
After a day's play of epic proportions we have somehow got down to 46 players from 759. That works out to more than 70 players per level! This is Pot Limit Omaha ladies and gentlemen. It's a gamblers game where you can nearly always find a reason to stay and see the next card out. We return tomorrow at 2pm Pacific time where we will play down to our final table of 9 players. It should be a short day but you never really know when the stacks get deeper compared to the blinds. It's goodnight from the Amazon room, we're off to catch our breaths.

Jesper Taking a Hit'Nice Bet'
It's folded around to Jesper Hougaard on the button who makes it 3,200 to play. Tony Phillips quickly makes it 10,600 from the small blind. Hougaard asks Phillips what he has behind and when he hears it's 81,000 he makes the call.
The flop comes
before Tony leads out for 16,500. Hougaard plays with his chps before raising it up to 33,100. Instantly Phillips moves all in and just as quick Jesper folds adding 'Nice bet' to his opponent. Phillips responds with 'That's how we play Omaha in England!'.
Tony Phillips upto over 130,000 now.
Jesper Hougaard down to around 70,000. -
